Why quartz

Why homeowners choose quartz

Quartz is engineered from natural stone combined with resins, which gives it two things granite and marble cannot: a consistent, predictable pattern and a non-porous surface.

Non-porous means it never needs sealing, it resists stains and bacteria, and it shrugs off everyday spills like wine, coffee, and oil. It is the low-maintenance choice for families and anyone who wants a surface that looks the same on day one and year ten.

The range of looks

From clean white to marble-look veining

Because quartz is manufactured, the color and pattern options are enormous, from clean solid whites to dramatic marble-look veining that gives you the look of Carrara without the upkeep.

Quartz FAQ

Quartz countertops, answered

How much do quartz countertops cost in Rockwall, TX?
Budget at least $50 to $85 per square foot for most lines, with premium designer colors running higher. Two things move the price: the thickness of the countertop, and the color and finish, since some are more expensive than others. A free estimate on your layout gives you the real figure.
How do you care for quartz, and does it need sealing?
Quartz is the easiest of the three: wipe with mild soap and water, no sealing ever required since it is non-porous. Just keep extreme direct heat off it with a trivet.
Can quartz look like marble?
Yes. Marble-look quartz gives you that veined, high-end look with none of the sealing or staining worries.
Is quartz heat resistant?
It tolerates normal kitchen use, but use a trivet for hot pots. It is slightly less heat tolerant than granite.
Do you fabricate quartz or only install?
Both, in-house, from template to install.
