Long stretches of direct sunlight can dull its color over time, which matters for a sunny window run or an uncovered patio, where natural stone is the safer pick. On very long counters you may also see a seam, and because it is engineered you do not get the one-of-a-kind variation of natural granite or quartzite. For most indoor Frisco kitchens, though, quartz is a fantastic, easy-care choice.
What countertop colors are trending for 2026?
